Samcheongdong (삼청동)

I talked about cafes and coffee culture in Korea in a recent post. Today I want to share some pictures of Samcheongdong, a popular tourist area where many cute cafes are located. Couples, families, and tourists visit this area because it is right next to Gwanghwamun (광화문) and Bukchon Traditional Village (북촌한옥마을).

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAfter finishing walking through Bukchon Hanok Village, we reach the main road of Samcheongdong. There were many people walking up and down the streets visiting cute cafes. Most of the cafes are also very open, so people enjoy sitting down to chat or people watch.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAlthough the coffee shops in this area is a bit on the expensive side (4,000~6,000 won for a beverage and 5,000~10,000 for desserts), I definitely recommend stopping by Samcheongdong because cafe hopping is actually quite a unique experience.
